Groovy Homemades is an amalgam created by hippies in the deep recesses of the Flint Hills of Kansas. Their shaggy bodies haven't seen daylight since 1970.
Just kidding…I just like making crafts.
My penchant for crafts began after taking a hand-quilting class on the East coast. I fell in love with vintage fabric and retro design. From there, my passion morphed into various crafts; some include folk art/tole painting, drawing, knitting, punch-tin, basket weaving, painting with acrylics, Modge Podge (of course), crochet, and mosaic tile.
Like most life-long crafters, crafting is a passion…an escape into the unknown. I love designing because it makes me feel alive ~ you never know how each design will end up - and that's the joy.
Selling my crafts was a dream I never thought would become reality. All that changed when I discovered duct tape.
